Trouble Sending Characters To And From Character Creator?

Hi Everyone,

We have become aware of an issue which prevents users from sending avatars to and from iClone 7 and Character Creator 2.1. This can also affect sending of 3D heads from CrazyTalk 8 Pipeline to Character Creator 2. This issue normally occurs when you change the Temp folder in Preferences.

The reason for this is that we make a folder called "CharacterCreator2Temp" or "iClone7Temp" in the path that you change in Preferences. Unfortunately the process doesn't add the correct slash ("\") after the path, so the application will not find the correct folder.

We will fix this permanently in the next update (either iClone 7 or Character Creator 2).

For now you should be able to resolve the problem by using the Remove_Temp_Folder.reg file in the attachment. To try it, download the Remove_Temp_Folder.zip, then unzip it and double click the file Remove_Temp_Folder.reg to correct the registry.

We hope this will help resolve the problem for now. Please do accept our apologies for the inconvenience this issue is causing.

Thank you for the quick fix.
It has indeed made to and from CC2 and iC7 possible again, but alas CT8 is sending the head to Local temp but still
the message failed needing CC1.3 etc. as I posted in the CT8 Pipeline update thread.

oh good. I thought I was losing my mind. I have this same issue. and it does that in IC6 to CC1.5 from time to time.
was starting to believe that this was going to be the norm. glad to hear RL is going to fix this for IC7 & CC2.
