Please see the topic below. This explains some of the differences between iClone and CrazyTalk Animator.

CrazyTalk Animator and iClone are used for completely different kinds of animation. CTA is for 2D animation, which are like drawn cartoons. iClone is for 3D Animation, with Pixar/Disney as the ultimate example. The imagery in most games is also based on 3D animation.

It is hard enough to learn one kind of animation, so it wouldn't make sense to have both products. I prefer to work on 3D animation, so I decided not to upgrade to CTA 3. It's just not my thing.

Both 2D and 3D animation are equally valid forms; it just depends on what appeals to you. I would say that from a technical perspective 3D animation is more complicated, but in the right hands the results can be stunning and impacting. But then again, I have also seen fantastic 2D animation, such as The Wind Rises by Hayao Miyazaki.

EDIT: Peter is so quick...

All this being said Reallusion has done a good job of making the two programs similar in many respects, like the time line and manipulating movement clips. If you've come close to mastering iclone it won't take you months to learn Crazy Talk Animator.

Hi all,

thanks for the answer.
I got the answer and start to study this great software.
just like my first thinking, i will do better with more real video (3D) than 2D.
My plan it to make it for my website, youtube and fiverr maybe.
Good luck all!
