I am currently playing around with the 3dexchange pipeline trial, trying to decide if it would work for me.

I would like to be able to rough out an animation in Iclone and then refine it in Akeytsu.

If anybody does this I would appreciate hearing about your experiences.

I am currently experimenting with the Jade character.

I can get an FBX into Akeytsu , bones rotate correctly, but I lose any overall translation of the character.

In fact, I am not able to find a boneroot in the list of bones of the character imported to Akeytsu. The boneroot is present in 3dexchange.

I currently have the motion setting options in Iclone turned off and I admit that I don't have a complete understanding of what they do.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

3dxchange creates its "Own Bone Root" for all characters imported to it.
This is internally created to use Reallusion's bones to animate.

Akeytsu uses the objects "Root" For characters select the Hips.
Move this (inside Akeytsu) and the entire character will move.
