Ok so I am trying to find out what "Switch" in the camera drop down menu does: So I go to the help menu, click online manual in Ic7 Why am brought to the Reallusion Forum. this is very annoying. I only want to find out what the "Switch" does without going into an endless debate. Is there no Glossary anymore?

Since iClone 7 has not yet been released as a final product there is no finished Help or User Manual available. The Switch in the Camera Menu is there for use when more than one camera has been set up in a scene and the user wishes to alternate between different camera views during the project.

Could you possible point me to a video link that demonstrates this. All I know is that if I have many cameras in a scene and I want to change view I have to choose from the camera menu which camera to use to view: If i select Switch I am still in the same view. If you do not know of a video link then can you please explain to me what difference you notice if you select "Switch" {my theory on "Switch" is}:- I guessed that if you selected and object in a scene and then selected "Switch " I my present viewing would be Switched room active camera view the scene from the object point of view.

Select Switch Open Timeline Usually the original camera will fill the whole timeline. In the switch on the timeline you can then right click on a certain frame that you want and select which camera view you want. All the way through your project you can then set at what point you want to use a particular camera

If you have Iclone 6 , you can get the online manual. Lot of features are the same. :)

Link to the on-line iClone 6 manual: http://manual.reallusion.com/iClone_6/ENU/Pro_6.0/default.html. As mentioned, many of the functions are the same.
