iClone failed initialization (DX9 works, DX11 doesn't)

I've followed the troubleshooting guide and it's not helped at all.

My computer is very much over the minimum requirements:
i7 4770k
32 GB RAM
GTX 970
Win 7 SP1 x64

Videocard drivers are fresh installed (did that during debug step) and the absolute latest version. DX version is up to date as well.

I know GTX 970s work with iClone, as I see people talking about them all over on the forum when I searched. I know my card uses DX11. It works with other DX11 programs and it's listed in my dxdiag. Yet iClone only works with DX9.

Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately, I only have the one card and in newer versions of the nvidia control panel (at least on PC) the option to select the card isn't even there.

Please try installing the platform update below if you are using Windows 7. This often resolves the problem.

It might be an idea to pin this topic, as occasionally others have problems with DirectX and also certain codecs.
