I created a simple character animation in iClone that looks like this:

However, when I export this character using 3dxchange to Unity an preview animation, the fingers of the character are distorted. Here is how it looks in Unity:

As you can see in the above picture, the fingers of the character, especially the thumb, index and middle finger, are not the same to those in the iClone.
How can I solve this issue? What are the possible causes?
Thanks in advance.

I'd be interested in the answer for this as well, I'm still a ways off from my iClone to Unity workflow but gathering all the info I can to help elevate problems in advance.

I found that the problem was  when I imported the character to Unity the rig setup I set was Humanoid. However, after changing it to Generic everything works fine. I initially made the rig setup Humanoid by following iClone tutorials online. Apparently, that doesn't seem to work, at least in my case.

Hi! It works for me! I can't say any word for this. After a week try to change anything ( including animations>mask and transform, reimport 3d models, etc) I changed to generic back. Thanks!
