Now that was funny!

Either that or something made by Apple.

Where did you see that at?
By Galfridus - 17 Years Ago
Is it one of those disinfectant things you clip under the rim of a lavatory pan ?:hehe:

Geoff.

Edit.

( For non-uk readers Izal was an abrasive brand of toilet paper feared by generations of British School kids....and still is! )

Reallusion somewhere, mentioned iBlock in its invitation to submit items to the SciFi product line. There is a web link on the term iBlock, which currrently says "coming soon."

Sooner or later, we are all going to find out what this mysterious "iBlock" is.

My guess is it's the ape-crazy monolith from "2001." :hehe:
By Galfridus - 17 Years Ago
Could it possibly be a typo? A childhood friend from Dudley (West Midlands) often went home from school with a block i. Maybe RL intend to inflict this on recalcitrant CCD`s whose submissions don't match the specified sci-fi theme ? If the link is displaying coming soon at least they are providing prior warning. If this proves to be the case my only advice is to duck when appropriate.:)

It's a Prison reference, clearly. It's where all the iClone Music Video makers go once we round them up and lock them away.

"Stick 'em in I-Block, men! With all the rapists, murderers and radio hosts!"

(Note to self: lay off the caffeine.)
By Dreamcube017 - 17 Years Ago
This may be somewhat outthere, but what if it's some sort of greeble tool... but probably not.
By stuckon3d - 17 Years Ago
It could be that "Iblock" is nothing more than a statement from a goalkeeper in a middle of a soccer game. :P
By Galfridus - 17 Years Ago
LOL Biggstrek :D Keep up the caffine !

I`ve done a quick scan through the captain`s log which indicates it`s a medical condition encountered from a prolonged stay in outer space?

"Quickly Nurse, he`s got iblock!"

quote from Stars Wars Episode V "The Enema Strikes Back" (1980).

iBlock is short for iClonian's block. Similar to writer's block, it describes the common situation all iClone users have experienced from time to time. The abbreviation is needed because without it the following haiku will not work.

Trey would love to talk

Why can't he tell a story?

I got an iBlock

I'm now worried that Biggs is coming to take me to iblock for all the music videos I made in the past, and for any I might make in the future. :)

 Could it be these with all these dazzling videos about?
By Galfridus - 17 Years Ago

Great to see all your creative minds coming up with fun ideas for what iBlocks are.

If you take a look at the images below you might be able to guess what they really are. :P

By DesertWalker - 17 Years Ago
So my guess will be that iBlocks are a bunch of jumping hopping crawling new kids on the block. Welcome! Avatars may feel challenged though. Watch out for gang wars inside iClone.

Avatar: Keep off my path! You piece of iBlock! You have more legs than your blockhead can handle?!

6-legged creature: What did you call me? You avatar the retard!

PUNCH! SMASH! POW! WHAM! ...

ps: This is great. Have been wondering when we can make something that crawls.

By Dreamcube017 - 17 Years Ago
lol you guys.

It looks to be... some sort of skelital or bone structure? ... wait... can we build our own skelitons?... gee that snake one is somewhat confusing though.

I'm guessing it has SOMETHING to do with skelitons or something. Am I right???

Damn, there all ready out ha ha! Forget my last post (feel abit stupid now)
By Dreamcube017 - 16 Years Ago
Wow that's awesome.

*goes to product page*

Well doesn't look like I'll be able to get that at least not right now.

I wonder how crazy and insane of a robot can actually be made with this. I still may save up for it and get it if it's really flexible.

Heres the link. If you figure out how to export from 3ds ..let me know

*looks at instructions* yeah... I'll pass.

Does RL have like a contract with 3DS or something? I know perfectly well how to do that in Carrara and don't really wanna figure it out all over again in 3DS. I have a realy good book to do so, I just don't want to... lazy sounding I konw, but I wish they made it so that people using other pieces of 3D software could make content and not limit it to those using 3DS max... I mean there's Maya, but that's autodesk too.

What happened to Lightwave, what happened to C4D, Modo, Silo, Carrara, blender even?
