Hi all - I put a big mask on Heidi that is abouth 20 percent larger than her head. I also put long hair that bounces around as she dances - sometimes it bounces through the mask - how can i stop that from happening?

EDIT: will simplify the question - how do i stop hair going through a mask? its a 3d model mask attached to head and assigned kinetic physics with no gravity so it can stay attached to the face. I tried different bounding options but it doesnt help, the hair keep coming through the mask as it bounces around during the character motion
mask is from 3d warehouse and I am wondering if its to do with the complexity of the mesh of the mask... any ideas?
