Hi everybody ! I am creating clothes for iclone 6.5 with the indicated procedures, using marvelous designer . And everything works fine except when I want to use the uvs via photoshop for the opacity map or the weight map; Photoshop does not launch when I click the buttons; Nevertheless my uvs are present in maya..or 3ds max and my model is imported without problem in character creator.
can anyone help me ?

Have you set the path to Photoshop in the Preferences panels of iClone and CC?

evidanse (2/10/2017) Yes, i usually use photoshop to modify excisting clothes in cc What Gerry means is, did you actually set the path to Photoshop in the preferences as indicated in his screenshot? That will determine what graphics editor will be launched.
EDIT: There have been instances where you need to run iClone as administrator in order for the setting to "stick".

hello animagic.
I set the good path to prhotoshop in the preferences. I can launch it when I use the official template clothes, but not when I use mine....
In maya the uv editor is correct . I apply a texture to the cloth, skin it to my character, copy wkin weight, and export in fbx file. In Character creaor evrything works fine , good diffuse texture, and I can use the uv setting panel.
The only thing I can not do, is editing the uv references via photoshop...
Thank you

OK, I think I understand what you are trying to do. The UV references within iClone and CC are fixed and cannot be edited from within the application.

Hello
I bought some new clothes in the marketplace and I managed to open the uv map in photoshop which is very useful for weight map editing. I don't know why I can not open this file... I noticed that when i import my clothes as a prop into iclone, I can open the uvs, but not when I import them include in the fbx file via character creator.

I don't want to edit the uvs but use them for good creation of the diffuse, opacity, weight maps...etc...
