Hi folks, I'm just making sure there is a "Create Face" function in CC 2.0 (like iClone Avatar 5) which allows to create a face using a 2d image!

That functionality is in Crazytalk now.

I know it works in CT! Here's what Peter said last year (april) - is there this functionality included in version 2.0?

When will there be Create face function in CC / iClone6 for iC6 avatars - Peter or anybody who knows?

At the moment you can create your head using a 2D image in CrazyTalk 8 Pipeline and then send over to CC or iClone 6. A plugin for Character Creator is still planned for a future upgrade (likely CC 2.0) but unfortunately I don't have any confirmed information about when this will be ready.

He's not saying it will be IN CC2.0, only that a separate plugin (for which you'd have to spend money) will be developed at some point in time.

So your question should really be: "When is that plugin coming for 2.0?" My guess is it's rather low on the priority scale.

Hi Tapani,

The "Create Face" plugin for iClone7/CC is still on the table but is some way off unfortunately. For the iClone 7.0 / Character Creator 2.0 release you will still require CrazyTalk 8 Pipeline if you wish to create CC heads from 2D images.
