Hi all, Haven't been on here to post in a while, been busy pioneering mobile AR/VR social telepresnse, so I don't know if this was covered already.:w00t: Anyway, if anyone has used this Pixologic family of products as a pipeline asset for iClone or are familiar with Zbrush, is there anything missing that iClone or CC uses or benefits from in the pipeline of custom character/prop creation that this Zbrush Core product may lack?:w00t::w00t: http://zbrushcore.com
Here is the comparison chart.:w00t::w00t::w00t: http://zbrushcore.com/features

I actually picked this up during the sale. Its very specific to 3dprinting. No uv, limited polygroup features, limited masking, limited brushes, basic polypainting, no autoretopo. But its very easy to reproject the vertex color, details to a retopoed and uv'd mesh outside of zbrush.
Sculpting is still smooth as silk and it runs well on laptops because its cpu based. Still the best sculpting app out there.

I have bought too during offer sale . That canceled now my MudBox Subscription. I had only MB, because 3D coat is not the best Tool for create Morphs . With the Core Version now is not longer needed to use MB For all that another stuff, like UV mapping and TexturePainting and backing normal maps I have 3D Coat. The only thing waht I don't like in ZBC it has not smooth surface shading . That makes it in the LOW level very edgy. Not very good feedback view for my taste , but no big deal

not smooth surface shading
What's that mean? Something different with the zbc and zb viewport? Did they disable something in zbc viewport? I didn't notice.

General, in ZBrushthere isn't a 'Smooth Shading' view.
What's that mean?
