I have created a project that is only 2700 frames long, but I find I now need to increase that number. I already have animation and audio in the project. I know that you can add frames at the beginning of the project, but is there a way to add them at the end? And if not, what would be the best procedure for moving (all together) what I currently have to the beginning of the newly added frames?

Use the project settings (Ctrl+Shift+P) and change the total frames to what you need.
Those frames will be added to the end.
