Where did you get the notice that there was an upgrade?
My current version is V3.0.1005.1

This is not a official Beta 3.1 patch.
You must clicked the check for update in Help menu.
CTA 3 beta currently do not have update.
If any comes in the future, we will announce in the forum and address each user through mail.
That button is something we forgot to block during beta.
It is invalid, please do not click.
