Character movement

I'm trying to smoothly track the face of the character while is walking the street but I could figure out how to do that, I have tried to do the link to, Look  at camera, used the technic of using props to attach to camera to achieve that nothing worked for me . any tips?

The key is linking the Camera to the Bone Root.
