Hi!

I've been sculpting on a CC mesh in Zbrush and when I replace the original mesh with the new one, this happens:

This is the starting mesh:

And this is the OBJ I'm trying to replace it with:

I haven't added anything to the original mesh to keep the number of verticies the same, and I've been successful with this workflow before. But this time there's something wrong.
What causes this? And what can I do to fix it?

Here's an example of the other more extreme alterations I did that were successful.

The only thing I can think of is if you made any major UV changes, 3DXchange may freak out.

Another issue is vertix order, but I assume you took care of that.

How did you get the OBJ-File

If you exportet from CC in a OBJ-File and imported this OBJ in 3DXchange, you will get this.

The OBJ export from CC is not compatible to OBJ in 3DXchange.

This was the issue! I had exported it as an obj directly from CC instead of going through iClone and 3DXChange.

Thank you!
