Hi every Body. I started this topic to share my experience with the duo plugin. It will be update so stay tuned :-)
First depending of your PC , you may have to switch the usb port for the two suits be recognized . You need to hear the PC "beep" AND the "Neuron Hub" beep.
So you get this:

Monday afternoon , We'll make a record session with 2 characters that I will share.

Marc, it would be great to learn from your experiences. I'm still on the fence regarding Perception Neuron, so this will be very helpful.

Another short tutorial before user manual release. Just to confirm that the edit Axis tool works very nice to avoid missing data.

Neuron mocap is not only for human. Some examples using the Neuron mocap on non human characters. As you can see "feeling" the mocap is essential ;-)

Same technic with a Human-Ant with 4 arms. The duo mocap give the ability to make the 4 arms mocap session in one pass with 2 actors.

@mtakerkart - I have a question for you, I saw there is an option for "Import" in Axis. Do you have any idea what it imports? I was wondering if it's possible to import motion files from iClone and fix the "foot contact" or the jitter in Axis. I already have a few files that I like but Thea are a bit "shaky". That would be great. :-)

UDK 4 clearly wants to take the realtime preview and production market regarding their show at Siggraph. Their main argument is : we made this shots in minutes instead of months!!! Have a Look at 2:00 at Their mocap and record rigg.
Now have a look of the next threads....

Because I have two Neuron suits, so, I tried to make a rig like this with my ressources to have a virtual handy camera set. Of course I'm not so sexy as Hellblade people!! ;-)
Because Diego is a child and I have no idea yet how to figure a precise body setup in Axis Neuron , there's lot of body shift .The minimun prefigure body setup in Axis is 150 cm.

Now I made the same but before I captured 2 people first to use the 2 Neuron Suits, then I re-shoot the performance live and alone....
So may Reallusion you can update the size of the mini viewport .
Of course if we can get a facial mocap , I will build a head-rig, and us too could make things in minutes instead of months !! ;-)

Very nicely done Mtakerkart!
That makes me curious if you could track the camera with just one sensor? Can the Plugin support fewer sensors than 18 (basic suit)?
Maybe they should update the plugin to support two suits and one extra sensor for the camera operator. ;)

Yes and no ;-) The suit is sold with one extra Neuron that could be link with a prop. Noitom will make a tutorial about this feature. May be I could attach this extra Neuron on my Camera rig to have more natural feeling movement and perhaps collect clip of that prop.
Thank you Rampa !

Nice job! This is really innovative thinking!!
Can i ask you something? I observed some kind of jitter in your previous videos. Is this a calibration issue or is that the way motions are recorded? If so, how do you clean them?
Thanks!!

Thank you Lamias
Yes there's some jitter because first I think my computer is too old , second because I didn't clean up the mocap in axis Neuron and third I don't now yet how to make an accurate body size depending the performer size. Here you can see a mocap session cleaned in the axis Neuron but no accurate body size

Hi every body. Just a little work in progress with the Neuron suit. I did some more serious test. In the video , Green Christian is the cleaning mocap. It took 20 min to cleanup. It's the maximum time consuming I can give in my pipeline for a 45 sec anim. I'm very comfortable with the result for my need. Curiously , for my case , I had better result for the feet mocap when I was wearing shoes , with socks I had erratic result. The tricky part is the feet because it drive all the body. So the parameters of the joint step must be accurate. But it depend of your body and move because my settings are different from what I saw on different tutorial. It's a trial and error way.
This is my settings:
