I'm just at the edge of buying the Neuron. I have a question for anyone who ones it, how good it the finger control? The reason I ask is I noticed in the videos there is only 1 sensor per finger. A finger has three digits, how does it function when you want to do intricate finger movements? I assume it doesn't and you have to edit these?

I just ordered my Suite, I will tell you when it gets here. In the meantime I guess that the sensor calculates the movement of the other bones as well, since fingers usually bend all the same way, like it's not that you only bend the finger tip when you bend your finger. But I am just guessing.

About the fingers though. You do bend different segments of the fingers depending on what you are doing, like playing the piano, guitar, typing on a keyboard etc. Even with different finger gestures.

Thumb and index have 2 sensors. the other one.one sensor at the finger end with IK makes coherent movement.
Just for info , the Reallusion coupon makes the suit at the same price than academic.

Himtakerkart, are you sure? I needed the 18 Neuron academic. If then, how do iget this code? And could you please show me where i could read this info? Thatwould eliminate a lot of my concern. Thanks in advance

You need to buy the plugin, toghether with that you get the coupon code which you can use at the noiton shop while checking out. It will save you 20%.

Thanks so much for posting this. As usual, I got a bit over excited with the launch advertising. The hands were the main reason I was considering investing in this and now I can see how poor it is l will give it a miss. Maybe future developments will extend the sensors into a full finger control, but now I see it in action I realise the current glove cannot deliver finger picking, typing, writing or shooting the keys...
The body control is fantastic but hands and facial control are the top priorities for me, as these remain the biggest limitations of Iclone in my book.

Yes - not a lot of dexterity captured
- am thinking about purchasing the product
- and have in mind capturing the motion associated with ""handwriting""
- guessing there would be limited results**
