This was an experiment with a converted sketchup model. The original model used in this test render was modeled by commanderm009. I pulled it apart to import into iclone and utilized clone bone to create body movement. Some custom video clips were created in iclone and then applied as the texture map tothe tank treads to simulate movement. All in all a fun experiment.

very cool wolf and what a clever idea using video to simulate movement of the threads - will solve a lot of those wheel movements for cars - certainly a lot faster than trying to animate each one

Thanks all. We'll be giving the iWallE avatar as we've come to call him away on this week's show. Incidentally, at the behest of my daughter's we put together a bit more detailed version of him and a more expansive test render. Enjoy.
