Hi i was looking up on how to do a headless zombie so i attempted it. But i used the meaty part as a prop and attached to a zombie. When i have someone chop his head off and the zombie goes into a dying animation the meaty part comes apart a bit. The first picture is one with no animation and the last image is the one of a starting animation. Is there another way on how to do this. I've seen in other post with the meaty part stays there properly.

I've done a headless avatar like that along time ago, which worked fine as far as I can remember. I will double-check. Is this a CC avatar?

No its not a cc character. Its made from chuck. I got the zombie pack off the market place without the meaty part. It would have been good if someone would make caps for body parts like the severed man part in daz studio.

The movement of the prop in relation to the neck is determined by the bone it is attached to and also by the prop's pivot point. It should not be attached to the head, but to one of the neck bones for best results. I haven't been able to check yet what I did, but that's the basic idea.

I checked and I have a similar problem. It just never came up because my headless actors were hardly moving. However, I did find that if any head movement is eliminated you are probably OK. The head is still there, although made invisible, so it does have an effect on the prop when it's moving.

What you could try is this: make sure that the meaty neck piece is attached to the Neck bone. Then, after applying the animation, delete any Head motion by going into the time line. Right-click the Dying animation clip and select Remove Motion => Head. That should help.

attaching to neck will not work because it moves more out of place. Removing animation from head won't work either, it does nothing to the meaty part. I'm just thinking maybe i should just do a ragdoll one.

I don't have that particular pack, so I can't give any more detailed advice. You could try contacting the developer, Bigboss, for any tips.
