I've discovered a problem with a particular avatar I have that is important to a series I am filming. Although it is enabled for facial animations and voice files go into it, for some reason I don't know its mouth never moves as it speaks at all. Is there a way for me to make the mouth move as it speaks even though it somehow seems to not be premade for it? Is this where CrazyTalk comes in handy? I do have CrazyTalk 6 and CrazyTalk Animator 1 installed but I've rarely used them. If there is a way these programs can help me with this issue please direct me to the solution or any other solution there may be for it please. And thanks in advance.

Is this an character that you imported through 3DXchange? What I'm thinking is that the visemes are not properly mapped. You can check this in 3DXchange. Load the character, open the Expression Editor and then select the Visemes tab. This will tell you if the mapping is there.

Need a little more information rightdecis, are you using iClone 6 or iClone 5 and do you have 3DxChange?

I am using IClone 5 and this avatar was created in IClone 5 also. I did not create this avatar myself and unfortunately the vendor who did no longer seems to be at Reallusion along with everything he created. And I can't remember the vendor's name at all. And no, I do not have 3Dxchange.

you would need 3DX5 to fix it for iclone 5 - and the fix may not be easy,  depending on if the character has morphs or facial bones,  do you remember the name of the developer ?

I said this already. I do not remember the name of the developer at all and he is no longer at Reallusion anymore either as all the creations I know he did are gone from everywhere. And I have no clue how to work in 3DxChange of any version, either.

Is there anyone on here who might possibly do this fix for the avatar for me?

Take a look at this web site and see if it rings any bells. If it does then contact him directly.

Yes, this is him! Thank you so much. I just visited his website and sent him a message through his contact form. Thanks again. I hope this solves everything.
