Volunteers only....sorry no money...no honey....wo
It is a comedy scene and a short one. You will receive credits (only for the voice clip.)

Anyone who needs real voices for your animations......ASK HERE in this post. Lets get this going to benefit us all. We can all help each other this way. Anyone that wants to volunteer can also add their name for contact. All of us would love to have real voices for our works....right? So lets do it.

This is a really good idea! It could be a lot of fun and a good way to make new international friends. ;-)
I am British and from Hertfordshire (around half an hour from London by train). I can naturally pull off well spoken / posh Englishman an Common Hood / Cockney gutter rat. ;-)
I can also do Irish, Northern Irish, Welsh, Scottish (not as good as Welsh and Irish), Manchester / Northern England, Australian and American accents. I do have a sore throat and hey fever at the mo so wouldn't be great right now. I could have a go tomorrow though

OK, So does that mean you are volunteering yours?
Anyway.....I volunteer (for now)
In an effort to encourage this amongst us (I believe we could all help each other out for indie videos)
I am willing to do some voice overs in the best that I can do. I'm an Aussie by the way.
So PM me if you want help and your not going to be overly demanding and you are prepared to offer your voice here.
I use Audacity to record from a fairly expensive Rode microphone which helps me to like hearing my own voice a little bit better :hehe:.
I am in no way a professional actor but I'm not adverse to "trying" to act out my voice for the scene (as best as I can)
I don't mind helping others out for voice overs but only if others are prepared to do the same in return and they are prepared to accept my best offer, I don't mind re-doing it a couple of times to get the emotion sounding right but I will quickly give up on what I perceive as unreasonable insistence for perfection, there is no money in this for me after all.
This happens to be something I wouldn't mind improving myself on so helping others will help me too.
I know I will never be a professional but I want to do reasonably well for indie videos.

Yes it does. :-) I am offering my dulcet tones. Just not tonight.
I would be happy to do the odd bit of voice work for others if they are able to do the same for me too.
I used to love drama at school and would quite like to brush up on a bit of acting. I can also sing if needed. :-)

Idea is great ;-)
I can offer English with Polish/East European accent ;-). Really cool in any East European Gang member character style ;-)
I own some good recording mics and Adobe Audition.
No professional experience though.

Well yeas I will volunteer on this project.......
I am from Texas...a southern draw too.....good for westerns/country and such. I am happy to help out when needed.
With all of the potential this has for us I hope many others join in from all over the Earth. Think of the possibilities and additions to our hard work doing animations. Using Real voices can make us all have better quality productions.
If anyone needs a voice/voices simply ask here and wait to be contacted by a volunteer ((( BY PM )))...It is That simple.
DO NOT POST YOUR SCRIPTS HERE....
Send them directly to the volunteer.
You can arrange how you will get the file/s with your volunteer.
SO, have a script ready and how you want it portrayed or read before you ask here. Pauses and all important things needed to be considered in the voice over. Remember...we do not read minds so put it all on the table for the volunteer to fully understand your needs. Your actor/s: Male, female, young, old, ill, yelling, soft, normal, comical and so on are all so important to know.
So lets have some fun and do better with our hard work/s and work together, helping each other....when we can.

Next week I will be starting on a new CT8 Comic Contest entry and will need another voice over...... anyone up for that? A short one.

Thanks for joining in on our project. We hope to gain more of a volunteer group to assist those who want to have their hard work become a better viewing experience for the viewers. Our hard work in making a video is to be the best we can be at animations. so, with real voices instead of computer voices that most people do not like and the fact that they will not appreciate your hard work, we now have the choice to help each other and use real voices
Female, male, young and old can join in and help.Can you make a cartoon voice? A comedy voice, serious, happy sad and so on?
SOME video producers need different languages for their works too. The possibilities are endless.
Imagine it....a real voice with an accent of , India, china, USA, British, Irish and Australian and so on.....we can make our videos shine!
So everyone........join in and volunteer to help out..... a simple short voice recording by you of a script,and wala, easy. Then the producer can work their magic. and then....everyone is happy!
