It's it possible to insert an object, so that it's visibility is turned on from the frame where you insert it? It's tedious to scroll back to turn off visibility and then remember the frames where it's going on again.

say your at frame 600 for example when you add the object.
Whatever frame your at is irrelevant.

Try this
1) Add the object
2) Make it invisible
3) Right click on the object and remove animation
4) Make the object visible

Now if you scroll backwards on the timeline it will go invisible
Scroll forwards to where you made it visible and it will do that

Hope that helps

A hack, thanks ;)

This makes me think..  How would you do a similar hack if you also want to fade in?
By Skuzzlebutt - 9 Years Ago

since fading in stuff with multi-textures is going to be very problematic
your best "hack" would be to render out the character alone to a png sequence
and then your background (same size)
and use a video editor to do the fading.

Don't worry, I'm not offended. Your reply just made me think.....huh?

Hack definition....gain unauthorized access to data in a system or computer.
Um, I didn't realise that right click/remove object animation was unauthorized within iClone?.

"a Hack"?    lol
No, I see it as an effective way of using iClones capabilities to achieve your goals?

Not upset, annoyed, just replying with how I see it.
