Yes the package is already great.
I have it already installed.
is what comes next "whining on high level" must be - unfortunatelyUnsureCrying
Unfortunately, I can also use the templates this package
do not wear clothes in the style of the Middle Ages or Fantasy clips
SciFi can now realize more.
Pity the RL does not think of the fans of the aforementioned styles (or thought)
when they started the previous dresses templates.
Perhaps it is still something in this direction
(Long dresses, coats, tunics -
parts of which one could make armor etc). We can now create such beautiful avatars with the CC - only the clothes diversity of ancient eras lacks.

This is looking quite attractive to me.  I even think the price is fair since you get some people in addition to clothing.
I do really like how CC (thanks to the miracle of "Substances") really helps streamline the customization process, and that adds a lot of value.

Since I did not already own a previous-generation version of occupational clothing, I don't have any "buy a second time" angst.
It's very likely I'll be getting this.

Good point ... do I have to buy the optional "Career Gears" again, even if I have those items already from the previous "Career Roles Pack" in order to use them in CC?!

Apart from that question, the "Professional Outfits" seem to be really cool. Very flexible in usage, I guess.

No you do not need to buy them again. The contents are unchanged. The only difference is the Career Roles pack used to contain 10 G3 characters but the Career Gear pack only contains the props and accessories from the pack, no characters.

I do need to ask one thing though,
Why do we not get the physX tab for CC iAvatars to alter weight maps self collision and other settings in iClone?
What is set up in CC does not always suit all iMotions esp extreme ones and odd combinations even if the collision distance was calculated and adjusted in CC.
Playing with the new content I made an over the top example of what I mean.

By urbanlamb - 8 Years Ago
this is an awesome package.  Huge with all kinds of bits and pieces.   I am gonna get this one for sure I think I can make my toon looks and adapt all those meshes and be set for all my future needs for the most part.  Even the apron I had made one recently for a little dude I made and look there is such a nice one I did not think this would be offered because its an oddball need.

Now I must save my pennies I have spent all my mad money for the month but this is at the top of my list for next month BigGrin
By Delerna - 8 Years Ago
Hi Wendy.
On CC characters the physics tool doesn't appear when the character is selected.
You need to select the item of clothing you want to add the physics to

I was hoping someone else had noticed this so I wouldn't have to be the bad guy this time. Laugh

Most of you might not even care but there's a glitch it would seem with the "Knee boots", they cause the avatar to float off the floor!  If you delete them the avatar rests on the floor again.  Applying a different pair has the same result so I checked the "Plain Base" and they float too. Ermm  There's no way to make any adjustments in 3DX, but in iClone if you uncheck "Foot Contact" you can adjust the avatar to the floor, but that only works if you don't have any serious animating going on.

For the most part at the right camera angles and lighting you can't even tell she's floating... I'm not kidding either! BigGrin

Hi Snarp Farkle,
Thanks for your reply.

We know this issue, this is some kind AP issue when we made high heels.
We will try to fix this content, but we can not fix it.
Please wait CC 1.5, you can fix it when CC 1.5 release(June or July). CC 1.5 will provide panel to adjust floor contact.

Wow -- this reply is gold alone for the info about CC 1.5 (just having a ballpark estimate of when it will be out is extremely nice -- let's me plan a lot of projects now).

Great Pack...just what I need!
However, I normally don't "complain" there is only one type of woman's shoe for a professional and that's HIGH HEELS, unless I'm missing something OR when CC1.5  and/or the "new clone cloth" is/are released there are more templates for shoes.

a) Great to have an **approximate** timeline for CC 1.5.

b) Sorry to whine, but *WE* have to manually fix the foot contact for content we bought from Reallusion?  Did I read that right?

We will be able to fix it, but Reallusion can't fix it?  That makes no sense to me.
How about Reallusion fixes it in CC 1.5 and provide a updated pack for us to download.  I assume they'll have access to CC 1.5 sooner than we will.
Am I not understanding this correctly?  Am I being unreasonable with my annoyance?

Fantastic pack and already acquired.  Yes there are issues, the boots etc, but for the most part I'll work around these until we get CC 1.5.

However I'm with JustaViking, it is a little worrying RL's response?

I think what Luke was saying is that we can't fix it NOW. What happens after CC 1.5 is ready is not yet decided but the pack may well be updated due to the big changes coming in 1.5. We will know more closer to the updates release.

Thanks, Peter.
That makes much more sense (that you can fix it, just not right now).
I vote for Reallusion to provide an updated pack as soon as technically feasible.  Smile

Question:  Until then, how much fixing do we need to do?  Twelve avatars (unless they're barefoot)?
Question:  Does the fix (amount of offset) differ for each pair of shoes?  Or do we fix an avatar once, regardless of the shoes he or she puts on?

P.S.
@Snarp - Thanks for bringing this to our attention.  I still plan to buy the package, but it's nice to know this sort of thing before parting with my money.  Much less upsetting that way.

Hi justaviking,

Sure, we will provide update pack when we find a way to fix it.
I just want to say we may not fix it in 1.43, but we can fix it in 1.5 because we have new way to adjust floor contact.

Other shoes in this pack is all fine, you can see the pictures below.

You can see the picture below, when we adjust the Base female slider, the issue happened.

@Lukepan(RL),

Thank you for the detailed reply.

I apologize if I came across as too harsh in my first post.  I now realize some of that was due to an unfortunate phrase, which both you and Peter(RL) and since clarified.
It's also comforting to see that we don't have to fix every shoe on every character, but that many of them will work just fine.  Great pictures.  Smile

The ability to re-download a fully corrected will be much appreciated, of course.
As I have already said a couple of times, I do intend to purchase the pack.
By Roundtree - 8 Years Ago
Unfortunately, in the Professional Outfits pack, it does not include all that is shown. I purchased the pack, and went through everything, but it is missing the Chef's hat and the Airline Stewardess's cap. Were those supposed to be included?  If so...  If not, perhaps that should be stated in the ad.

Earl, sorry to be the bringer of bad news, but logos, accessories and hairs are not part of the pack. This is stated in the advert above the "features" section. It is common practice for Reallusion marketing to show assets that are not in the advertised pack so you have to be aware of this. There is always a rider but sometimes you need to look carefully to find it. Having said that this is a great value pack, especially at the early bird price. Also the accessories can be purchased as a separate pack or individually

I did find a workaround that's not too hard to live with, just set Base Female to 0 then adjust body parts to compensate.

So what's interesting here is that on one character I created myself and gave boots, the boots work fine, so there was nothing for me to report.

In this case the Base Female setting was at 100%; it's when adjusting the slider to 0% that she slightly sinks into the ground... On the other hand, she floats with both Base Female and Base Male sliders are both set to 100%, so there is definitely some interference.

I did find another problem, where the boots interfere with the low-rise shorts when Hide Mesh is enabled (left image):

https://forum.reallusion.com/uploads/images/cb499fcb-f88c-4b9b-8563-0a53.png

This can be corrected by unselecting Hide Mesh (right image).

Sorry to dig up this topic, but I had a question.  The pilot's hat APPEARS to be from the CrazyTalk pack, Dress Up 2.
https://www.reallusion.com/ContentStore/CT/Pack/Dress-Up-WorkWear/default.aspx

However, the note at the bottom of the pack says:
This pack is only for CrazyTalk users, clothing, accessories and items in this content pack will not export to iClone, or Character Creator

Is there a way to bring this hat into iclone or cc?  Or does the hat exist elsewhere?  Since it's displayed on a full body and not just on a head-and-shoulders model, I would assume so ...
