Another graphics engine?

Hello
I wonder if it would be impossible to "Reallusion", to use a graphics engine such as "Unreal" for an upcoming "iClone"?

AFAIK a game engine is a really complex beast, and his behavior define the workflow and UI.
Will be possibly a huge work to rewrite the front end to interface with Unreal API, possibly missing many of the highly usable tools. 
So you will problem finish to mimic Unreal UI, already there.
