Hi I have tried to create an idle loop but there is always a noticeable delay when the loop restarts and the 1st keyframe isnt copied. Here is my process
1. Import idle clip boxing and record 100 frames
2. Break the clip at frame 3 (you cant break at frame 1 or 2 for some strange reason)
3. Copy the broken clip to frame 100
4. Loop the clip and it there is a weird pause as it loops
5. Even though I have copied the motion keyframe it doesn't match in frame 100

Silly me. I had used the direct puppet and the delay was the delay between pressing space to record and the mouse moving

Just a few tips here :
- If you make a mistake on only part of a recording, you can save the good parts by slicing and chopping the bad part out using the timeline.
- I hear there's a way to record at half speed using a key combination, though I haven't tried it yet and can't remember how it's done.

Pressing "Enter" instead of the space bar will record at half speed. It even says so in the interface should you ever forget...:unsure:

I saw this and tried to press enter, but it doesn't do anything to me either.. Furthemore, it's the first time i hear it. Where does it say it?? :O

I've searched the documentation for "50%" , "half speed", and "half speed recording" - and still can't find anything about it.
Then again, I see Reallusion have fallen for allowing data-mining Google to handle their searches, so it's no surprise the search is as crap and irrelevant as Google and YouTube search is. Would be much better if they went back to their own search system, one that actually searched for what we're looking for instead of what Google (based upon it's data-mining across the web) wants to give us :exclamation:

Sorry...:blush: It still exists for the Face Puppet. It USED to exist for the Motion Puppet as well, but never for the Direct Puppet AFAIK.

Cheers Job, no wonder I couldn't find it, I was hoping it worked with Direct Puppet and Motion Puppet.
Shame it's only for the face cause it would be ideal to have for Direct Puppet!
