Yeah, the big problem is there is no English documentation -- only Japanese.

Software without documentation is worthless, at least from a production standpoint.  So it's interesting but not much use to anyone doing serious work (for just playing around it's fine).

Now it is open source I'm sure that given time tutorials will start to appear

Wow, thanks for the heads-up Toonarama, and for the manual link, Snarp!

For those who don't know, Studio Ghibli is the super-famous Japanese animation studio responsible for a lot of best-selling and often epic-length Anime.  They produce nothing but top-notch stuff, so to have this tool that they use and work on is really quite something.  Seriously, wow, this is brilliant!

That's an impressive manual as well from the looks of it, I'll get it printed and spiral-bound before I dig in :)
Thanks again, this really made me smile, I really love Studio Ghibli!!!
