Camera tracking output or input for Iclone

Beginning to learn Iclone.

It would be awesome to have the ability to outout camera movement into VUE software..

Currently I can compisite shots but it is cumbersome and panning the camera or moving it makes the process very difficult if not impossible.

Supported file formats are Max Script (.ms), MatchMover (.rzml) and MatchMover Ascii Camera 3D Track (.


Another wish would be to input VUE objects in exchange, assuming VUE allows it with standard license...

Hahaa.. Just wait for lifetime or just use other software For camera tracking or animation export to other software..

i agree this would be a excellant tool.
but, if this was to be implemented into iclone it needs to have both import and export data.

btw,
it is possible to get the camera positions/animations into other programs
provided that you linked and animated them with dummies

Definitely a +1 here for camera tracking (Import), cause in my case I'd also love to be able to bring video footage into iCone and have iClone's camera track the footage so that the viewport feels part of the shot footage.
This really would be a fantasic feature, very powerful, it would even attract live-action Indie filmnmakers to iClone in the process.

I'd give it a +1000 if I could.

Yep!
...a.k.a. "Markers!"Smile

no, not as tracking markers
think of the dummy animated cameras you made in iclone as placeholders
they contain all the translation animation, so you use them to link cameras
in 3ds max c4d etc.. from there its pretty easy to get them into AE as well.

Would also be great if this could be combined with/used in Hitfilm. Hitfilm came with my Sony Vegas and has many nice effect features.
