I having a problem displaying the move and rotate tool on my characters that I imported into my scenes. At first it worked by has now stopped. The character is highlighted with the yellow selection box but when I press the W & E hotkeys nothing happens.

This a new one on me, do you get the same problem when you click on the tool's icons? Or from selecting the tool from the menu?

The Gizmos visibility can be turned on and off by pressing Ctrl+Q, or by setting it in the Preferences Panel.
