Not having the funds to keep buying Iclone products, and needing to develop a cast for two animated movies, I looked deeper into Daz and Genesis characters. One of the things that impressed me with Iclone CC was the use of substances to enhance the character textures. With this in mind I looked further into Substance Designer, having purchased it around the same time as Iclone 6. Here is my first attempt of creating facial makeup for one of my characters.
Tears
Lipstick and eye shadow - color can be changed and opacity changed
Eyeliner
Eyeliner can be several different widths
Adds dynamics to characters.

Meet Substance (Genesis 2) Man (W.I.P.)
While this is in just the early stages, with substances I can change a lot of the facial textures on the Genesis 2 character in a similar way that Character Creator does. The advantage of this is is that some of my existing Genesis 2 characters can now be altered without resorting to time consuming changes to the individual avatar textures.
There is still quite a bit of work to be done with tweaks both big and small.

Great job on this super Substance you've created.
You've got a lot of variations available there that really help bring the character(s) to life.

Very nice Colonel, this is very interesting as I have probably bought about as many DAZ characters as I have iClone ones, and this would provide a nice way to enhance them. Very nice thank you.

Thanks rampa. There is a plethora of Genesis 2 characters that can be used. Even though CC is now available and easy to use, there is still a place for the Daz models.

I have quite a number of Daz models as well. It is a shame to waste them even though CC is now here.
