Well,... A new set of high quality Cloths for iClone is Born. Meet "Pirates"! The latest release from Bigboss... These new Cloths will soon be available at the Reallusion Online Content Store... Here's a sneak Preview ! These Cloth bridge the Gap of existing iClone Cloth technology by introducing the capability of using "Fully Weighted" Accessories on your Avatars, e.g. the Pirate Belt and Rope will actually follow every move of the Avatar in a flexible way as if they were real ! A Demo Video will soon be posted once we have a fully textured pirate crew so you can appreciate the flexibility and quality of this new Release. Keep Posted! About Skintight: Skintight meshes are the creation of Bigboss. The principle behind Skintight is to provide the enabling technology to the artist for creating movie characters which look real and move like real people. Consequently, Skintight cloths are thoroughly tested against the most demanding motion files to provide a premium quality product. Furthermore, Skintight cloths enable you to create various outfits using the same map for both the upper and lowers which have proven to be an easier method of texturing to most thus far. When you buy Skintight, you know you by quality.

Well... I can see the Apparition concept on Pre Cut mesh is becoming spread! Naturally! The precedent placed by C4G3 and 3D MagicSuit has created a new class of clothing mesh, where details are part of the mesh rather than leaving it all to textures! We could say, this nice Pirates are the first BB entrance into Pre Cut designs although we have seen some others in minor scale. That is fine BB! Don't miss my tutorials next week! Too bad we could not see the "weighted" accessories in action but I expect next video will let us see!

Dear Mike,... I was not going to get into this discussion but since you so gently opened the door, I now have to explain to you the reasons why I actually do not use anything near your C4G3 or pre-Cut Mesh Approach... The way you implemented pre-cut meshes, as you so carefully displayed in your 3D Magic Suit Tutorial: 1) Requires the user to load SEVERAL texture files in iClone, i.e. one texture file per pre-cut mesh. Using High Resolution Textures, this approach WILL CONSUME EXCESSIVE GRAPHICS MEMORY in your Graphic card. Therefore, you limit the user to using LOW RESOLUTION TEXTURES or using very small high resolution texture files forcing him to do HEAVY TILING WORK. Furthermore, using large textures for large parts and small textures for small parts quickly becomes unmanageable.. 2) Requires the user to spend most of his time finding, loading and adjusting the tiling of textures which is very time consuming. 3) Render SAVING MATERIALS for your character an INCOMMENSURABLE TASK as the user will now have to save in excess of 100 Material files instead of saving 3 Material Files for exchanging textures between characters. i.e. UPPER, LOWER,SHOES. Furthermore, considering that renaming materials is only supported in iClone4, the user will rapidly loose track of his texture files. 4) Use excessive Polygon counts for portraying the details as opposed to a clever use of high resolution texturing with bump map. My approach in Skintight products do not have any of the above artifacts but rather uses a clever approach to texturing and mapping characters (now including accessories) which allow for the creation of complex Characters that are easily modifyable and maintainable by the user. Furthermore, texturing of Skintight characters is done via a very small number of high resolution texture files thus optimizing Graphics Card on-board Memory use and procure optimal Character Renderings. To date, I have not seen any competing products, including reallusion products use a similar approach. Cheers!. ;)

Dear bIGbOSS: I appreciate your description and inaccurate analysis of my OWN products!:w00t: I am amazed on how many wrong conclusions you can make in such a small space! But it is understandable because I don't think you are one of the so many real Apparition Users, which have not issued a SINGLE complaint about the "things" you say about my product. Not a single one in my complete sales record! Hence your wrong comments are totally unauthorized, biased and wrongly concluded. I just commented about yours showing you decided to Pre Cut the mesh to shape it into some garments that don't go all the way from top to bottom, as the pirate coat, for instance. I was NOT criticizing your product at all. But it seems it is very difficult to come into your posts with nothing else than pure expressions of "admiration". I can see it is a mistake to address you in ANY way. So I better keep away off your postings until I notice some degree of fraternity and desire to exchange. But I need to make it clear to all possible readers: All things stated here about C4G3 and Apparition products are absolutely confusing, mistaken and certainly biased.

I wanted to show you guys how cool the motions are for this pack. There are 14 total so I attempted to show using a widget. And yes...I clearly need more widgetry skills. :P
