I am trying to embed a CrazyTalk web-based character into a .php page. CrazyTalk doesn't recognize .php as a type of web page so I attempted to use
to embed a CrazyTalk.htm file (with the associated model and script files uploaded to the server). However, only about 2/3 of the image displays in the <iframe>. The default dimensions are 256X256 and I created my character with an image that was 200X200 so I know the dimensions are large enough. I even increased the dimensions of the <iframe> window but it had no effect on the displayed image.<br><br>My CrazyTalk webpage is:<br><br>http://www.galleryhistoricalfigures.com/BPCGuestbook.htm<br><br>which functions perfectly.<br><br>I'm trying to display this character in the following .php page:<br><br>http://www.galleryhistoricalfigures.com/guestbook.php<br><br>I used the syntax for the <iframe> given by CrazyTalk except I modified the src file to just directly call the BPCGuestbook.htm. I can hear the sound file but can't see the lower part of the face to see if the lips move. I tried embedding the CT character into a plain web page then using iframe code to embed it into my PhP page but I got the same result - about the lower 1/3 of the character image does not display. I double checked the image size and I used an image that was only 200X200 pixels. The iframe command sets that size at 256X256 so that should be adequate. I wonder if it is not playing because it recognizes that I have opened the file and played the script before and this info is stored in my cache? <br><br>Also, I just asked one of my colleagues to view my page with Firefox and instead of prompting him to download the CT plugin like it does for Explorer, it said no plugin for Firefox is currently available. Just open it in an IE Tab. Very well done! :)<br><br>The player for Firefox can be installed manually from the <a href="http://plug-in.reallusion.com/installCT.asp" target="_blank" class="SmlLinks">CrazyTalk webplayer & TTS component web page</a>.<br><br>For greatest possible compatibility in respect of the various browsers and platforms it is often recommended to use Flash. This is done by converting the CrazyTalk outpout (video) to the Flash format and then embedding that instead of the CT player. Apart from Flash there are many tools available form third parties for the conversion.
