No glossy floor in all projects

Hello,

I hope someone can help me. I have some projects with a glossy floor (water prop used on the floor). Now when I opened the project, there is no reflection and glossiness, and the floor is grey. Does anyone know what is going on?

Check your rendering quality. It needs to be set to "High" to get reflections.

At the top-middle of the iClone window is a pop-down menu that has settings for "High", "Medium", "Quick Mode", and "Custom". It is just to left of the "Home" button. You need "High", or "Custom" (with appropriate settings) for the reflection.

It will switch to Custom by itself if you turn on certain features in the preferences, like "Tesselation Shadow".

Since this is posted in the iClone 5 forum: In case you are working in iClone 5, the setting should be "Pixel shading".

If floor is grey, it's likely that you have Water shadow selected.. De-select it.. Water height should be at -1,
