can anyone tell me about the bvh motion converter in Iclone nd how to use it.

Is there a way to import iclone motion in 3ds max

Hi,

You can find information relating to the BVH Motion Converter from the link below.

Also there are full instructions on its use in the iClone Help document. Just press F1 from within iClone and navigate to Adding Motion To A Character - Motion - Using BVH Motion Converter.

Everything you need to know should be available from these sources. Hope it helps. :)

I studied these links but Is there anyway to import iclone motion in 3ds max or any other format(actually I need the animation file in .egg format).

You can't open iClone motion files directly in 3DS Max and iClone does not allow export of motions into any other format.

You can import motions into iClone in the following formats (extensions): VNS, CHB, HTR, CHA directly or BVH via the Motion Converter.

Just wanted to know why the BVH Converter is grayed out in my Iclone 5 standard I cannot use it.

Hi..

Unfortunately the BVH Converter is only included in the Pro version of iClone 5.

It doesn't seem to come with iClone 6 Pro? I couldn't find it.

Sigh. So much is not in iClone6 that seems to have been there in the past.

I shall have to wait for the new patches. I don't have the old versions of iClone and such.

Still, lots to play with and to learn.

It was a separate application. Since BVH is still supported, it looks like an omission to be reported in the issues thread.

I would not even know how to word the issue. Since I never saw it before. Would you mind sending in the report for me? You knew what is was and where.

I know there are a lot of animation capture files out there that I would like to be able to use.
