Yes, technically it is possible to use the 11 Neuron set-up with iClone and Neuron Mocap Plug-in. However, the mocap accuracy and experience will not be as good as the minimum recommended Neuron amount. Please feel free to test it out and tell us what you think!

Just curious, but I don't even SEE a 31/17 Neuron suit on Neuron's site -- I see an 18 and a 32, but not those particular ones.
Is there a disconnect here? Perhaps a terminology snafu? IOW, is the support you offer for those suits but you just call them something slightly different than Neuron does?

Thank you Eric. I started to figure out my 11 neuron kit. For know , it's a nightmare. Not with your plugin wich works perfectly :-). I'm trying to figure out with Neuron
support why some Neurons send wrong data and some are good. May be some were with magnetic field issue....

Hi Kellytoon,
Apologies, my initial post was a bit misleading. The 17, 23 and 31 are the three of the minimum recommended configurations that allow a user to take advantage of full body motion capture (31 with full fingers motion capture). The 18 sensor kit and the 32 sensor kit are the two packages on sale on Perception Neuron, but you don't necessary have to use all the neurons you bought. It is important to keep in mind that all suits are the same - they come with a head strap, a body strap, arm straps, leg straps and gloves. Hope this clears up the confusion.

After fixing magnetize issues with Noitom , I confirm it can work with only 11 Neuros:
I pre-order 7 more Neurons to have accuracy motion. Now I'm testing the possibility to let the neurons outside of the box on the suit in a safety
aera. I don't want to remove every day the Neurons , and when you make a calibration with a Neuron configuration , it keeps the setting ....

I am also very interested in perception neuron and I hope to see more samples of work in order to evaluate its capabilities. I have tried kinect mocap in the past and didn’t work good for me. So I am hoping for something more efficient and accurate.

Ghostier, Im am aware that they are "shipping" thats why I asked, but that doesn't quite answer the question lol. If I place my order now, will they "ship" it to me in about the same time it would take anyone else to ship me something online, or will I still wait till they finish "shipping" to peeps who bought it like 10 years ago?
