Notice over frame 390 is a new icon. Whenever you want to retime an animation to go faster or slower all you have to do is select the icon after you highlight anything in green (except audio) then with the middle mouse button pressed you can expand or collapse in scale.

1) Select all keys you want to rescale in time.
2) Position the framehead to determine the beginning of the animation collapse or stretch.
3) Then hit the rescale icon.
4) Middle mouse drag towards the framehead to scale speed up or away form the framehead to scale slow down.

In this example below the animation is sped up from how it was initially as dragging left pushes in scale the keys towards the framehead.
Unlike normal dragging this action drags keys slower when closer to the framehead and faster the further away they are.

What a great idea! Never would have thought to scale the keys.

HI,

This sounds great unfortunately I don't appear to have that button. I only have 7 of the 8 buttons depicted.

I have 6.2.2122.1 but don't have that button, do I need to switch something on or make changes somewhere else?

After trying with the clip stretch button for a while, and failing, I re-read the post and realized I didn't have that button either. Now I'm super curious what made it show up for Dragon Skunk? Hopefully we'll be able to figure this out as a group! ;)

This is quite intriguing, would be really interesting to find out if others are also missing this button and does it mean that there are different versions out there?
Is Dragon Skunk a beta tester or in a market that has a different release?
Would be good if Peter (RL) could clarify this.

This is the wishful feature section right? Not the tutorial section.
I wish for this feature so I crafted my dream tool and displayed it in the forum as a tutorial for the best way to explain it.
I apologize for the confusion.

LOL... that's funny.

Your mock-up was very convincing.  :)

I just clicked the "latest" button and saw your post, and didn't notice it was in the "Wishful Features" area.

I've requested this exact same feature more than once, and it should be somewhere in this section of the forum.   Thanks for the great write-up.

YES >>>> WE WANT THIS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Always wanted a feature like this, thanks for taking the time to lay it out so well.
