Hi folks, I am following a tutorial that shows how to use the clonebone templates to create the T1 battle droid.
Granted this is an old tutorial so I am assuming that we have made progress and clonebones are still in use.
I tried to download a clonebone puppet from the freebies section but it wont transfer. Please tell me where I can purchase the proper clonebone to begin
creating charaters by animatin google warehouse characters. I don't mind buying the products at all as sometimes free things dont work well. When I get the hang of creating characters in clonebone I will purchase other paks to create animals too!

I can verify because I am not at my iClone workstation but I believe a bunch of bones (such as Dummy bone and Game bone) are installed with iClone. Try checking your Reallusion templates directory.

I've manually moved my old IC4/5 content into my IC6 templates.
So I'm not sure which generation avatar/bones ship with (standard/pro) IC5 or IC6.
CloneBone Zack the winged robot bone (IC4 generation?) came free with IC4/5.
Likely, it came free with IC6 too. IC veterans pls confirm.
In any case, seems to be what you need.
Import your freebie Sketchup robot in OBJ format.
The robot parts need to be imported one by one as "Props".
Then from within iClone, you attach them manually to Zack's bone/rig.
The pic shows Zack's head swapped with a simple iClone 3D prop (bright pink).
Other useful bits:
Zack's bone is compatible with iMotions.
Body part can be resized with Avatar Proportion.
Also has jaw bone so could talk.

Well this is all very well and good but none of it works! When I attempt to bring clone bone zack into my scene it send me to the iclone site instead. So they can get me to spend more money? And the iclone 3 clone bone you folks referenced...won't download! Ok so realillusion is gonna make me spend money for what they say is free..ok I get it. So please somebody tell me where I can BUY the clonebone so realillusion will let me get it.
THis makes me feel funny towards the company as they and everyone tells me oh don't worry...it's free. Baloney.
Please tell me which clone bone I have to buy? WOn't expect anything free from this company again.

By the way with 3d Xchange you can also rig without that Clone Bone thing .:)

CloneBone has always been a free bonus. We do not charge for it.

Hello sir. I must be crazy but now I can't even locate a clonebone base to purchase. I don't care about free...If I must pay for it no problem. WIll you please send me a link to the page where I can purchase a clone bone. So many people have told me this is free but that is not the case. There in no clonebone in my Template directory at all. If you will please just send me a link I will buy it and we can go on down the road...lol
