Hi. Can you build a scene with a character that came with iClone, such as Mason, and then substitute a new character for Mason for render?

I can't really think of any reasons why this wouldn't work. I haven't tried it in a while, but character substitution has always been on of the features of iClone. Of course, if you already have iCLone, it'd be a simple matter to just give it a try yourself...

You simply drag and drop a new character onto the one you already animated. Easy-peasy.

In iC5, if you Select Character 1 in Preview Screen & then Select Character 2 from Content Manager, Character 2 automatically replaces Character 1 & adopts the Pose / Animation of Character 1. Which is pretty useful in many situations. Try it in iC6.
