Dear ... !

We are wondering if we can use iclone to create an animated char. and have it lipsync by using crazytalk?
WE will use the ODDCAST TTS engine where we send our applications output too to get a audio stream back. This stream should ideally be spoken by the char. with lipsync.

Thank you!

If you have Crazytalk 5 and iClone3 then you can create a script in Crazytalk that contains the lipsync vocals and facial animation. Once the the script is saved as a CTS file it can then be opened in iClone3 and applied to any character.

if you have Crazytalk 6 then this is not compatible with iClone3 and will require iClone4 to achieve the same functionality. It is worth noting also that iClone4 will have advanced facial puppeteering animation built in which will enable detailed facial animation to be created directly within iClone itself rather than via Crazytalk.

For us it is only important for the lipsync part specially when animation can be achieved using iclone itself!

Thank you!

Does Crazytalk 6 lipsync work with any other 3D software such as Daz3D, Poser, or Blender?
