Hey guys, New iClone user here. I was just curious if it is possible to easily make volumetric light in iClone. I understand that Daz is capable of it, using shaders/ubervolume.
Thanks!

Would have thought Spotlight should give you what you want. Stage / Light / Light setting / Spotlight. Use Move & Rotate Gizmos.

Had a go at this. My goal was to have a light cone that did not require any keyframing and worked perfectly with the iClone light tool. Here it is. All you need to do is set it directly below your light. It is transparent with high specular and a little gloss. The idea is that is totally passive, and just reflects light like dust in the air.
This is just a quickie built from an iClone cone prop, so it has a bottom that you really don't want. In this case, put the base of the cone just underground a touch. It could also use a bit of rotation animation on the Z axis if you wish.

I take it that iClone 6 still lacks true Volumetric Lighting? Is it even possible with the Indigo plugin? Can we at least hope to see it in iClone 7 or 8...?
Back in 2010 I started the Crepuscular Rays & Sun Shaft Rays Shader thread, before iClone 5 came out. And it's been talked about in other threads, before and since then.
