Ok I have a Simple Indigo question that may have already been answered.

but when rendering a image do I have to wait until the whole image is rendered in indigo?
or
can i just wait a few sec. and if the image is close to want I want but is still rendering can I save that image right then,

also will the image look pixelated if i stop it after a few sec. or will it look like a finished rendered image?

Thanks

What you see is what you get.

In other words, whatever you see as the rendering will be what you can save.  There is a rendering folder for Indigo (Options-Rendering Folder) that you can look in to see what is actually the state of your current and past rendered image(s).  You can pause at any point and save what has been produced, and then continue longer if you don't think it meets your standards.

So the bottom line is, you can save the image at any point in the process, and continue or stop at any point.

While rendering, the automatic updates get fewer and farther between.
Click the "Update Image" icon anytime to see the true, current state of your render.
Do that before you "Save Image."
I actually tested this, and "Save Image" will save what you currently see on the screen.  So if it's been 5 or 10 minutes since the last screen update, you'll save a better image if you do the "Update Image" first.
