recorded voice skips; project length longer

I am new to Crazy Talk. I purchased the standard version 6. I am having two problems. When I record a script directly into the program from a logitech microphone connected to my computer the voice jumps or skips sometimes. I want the most clear voice recording possible. I would appreciate suggestions on how to make a good wav file audio recording.

Also, the project needs to be about 8 1/2 minutes long. My template project stops at a little over 1 minute. I tried changing the project length numbers but they automatically go back to a little over a minute.

Hi,

Have you defragged your hard disk recently. If not then it would be worth doing that. If there is a lot of disk activity because your hard disk needs defragging or you are low on free space then you can encounter skips in audio and video recording. Also try to make sure you don't have any other applications running in the background while you are recording.

When it comes to setting the Project length, make sure you hit Enter / Return once you input the figures so thay are set. If you don't they will reset back to the previous settings.
