Morning All,
I've been reading some of the topics and have been absolutely amazed at the quality of the responses... Thank you for that and thank you in advance ...
I went to the online help guide and have been following along with "Utilizing Path" section... this seems pretty basic and understandable, however, after importing a character, moving forward 50 frames in the timeline, moving the character, moving to frame 100 and moving the character again (just like the instructions).... I then highlight the key frames and right click only to find that the "Convert Position to Path" option is "grayed out" (meaning un-clickable)...
Obviously, I am unable to continue and do not know what I am doing wrong... Again, thanks in advance...
Much Respect...

Welcome to the Forum.

I just looked at the Help topic on Paths and followed the instructions exactly as you did - I even used the Ball to test it.

What has been published in the Help, and what happens in iClone do in fact not match. It doesn't matter if Avatar or Prop - the option to "Convert Position to Path" is not active in the Menu.

This would appear to be a Bug that needs looking at by the Devs.

I'll add it to the official Bugs thread, with a link to your post.

Sorry that I can't be more helpful.

In the meantime you could try adding a Path and adjusting the points to where you need them.

I've experienced the same issue. "Convert position to path", is greyed out and not active.

I have just downloaded the latest update for iClone6 but it appears the bug is still there.

I've posted it again in the 6.02 issues thread.

The issues thread is open for all users to post problems discovered in the product. :)

Unfortunately the "Convert Position To Path" feature won't be implemented until the 6.1 update which is tentatively scheduled for around mid April. Apologies for the misleading information in the Help Guide.
