I purchased iClone 6 yesterday, together with the bundle, Total Plants and Botanical stuff.
Everything that is downloaded directly, works fine, and installs fine.
However, Total Plants are installed using the Universal Installer, RLDownloaderR2.exe, will always crash.
I cannot live with this, pay for content, and not able to download it. The funny thing is, I purchased Crazy Talk animator a month ago, then the downloader worked fine.
The error is: Fault in ntdll.dll
I have sent a support request to Reallusion, no response, so far quiet as in a tomb.
Anyone have any ideas? For example, where the heck can I get a link to this downloader, and install it again? Is there an update for this downloader? Who knows! There is absolutely no information about where to get it and what the latest version is.
Any help appreciated!

Yes, the error only occurs when I run this specific program, the universal downloader form Reallusion. But where do I get it? How can I uninstall it, and then install it again?
I have found absolutely no information on where to find and how to download and install this specific application. Do you have a link?

Guys, I have that same issue and have been troubleshooting it with RL. It is a problem with the downloader itself.
I just tested a new version of the Downloader yesterday that works. I assume RL will be able to provide a patch shortly.

Hi Bigboss, at least I know I am not alone. Lucky you who can test the new downloader, I also want to test it! I have a deadline, and wanted to use the Botanical pack. Which I can't now.
If you by any means have a chance so either send me the downloader, herre is my mail address: post at ingvarius dot com, or notify Reallusion, I would appreciate it very much.
I might even visit your shop ;)

I too purchased iclone 6 with the botanical pack, I am having the same problem with a few differences. I can download the marketplacedlist.rld file, but when I click on it to open it, absolutely nothing happens. NO error message at all, nothing. When I try it from the marketplace a browser window opens, but nothing happens. It's like it tries, but gives up.
Hope the patch is ready soon so I can get it. I am sure they will get it working, but it is frustrating to purchase something and not be able to have a backup download of it. That was the only way I could install all my content store content (up until the botanical stuff) because I had kept the downloads. Unfortunately, that will not work for my marketplace content, which is what I need for my next project.

Hi! Good to see that also others have this problem. Don't misunderstand me, it i not good to see that you have problems, what is good to see, is that more people have these issues. That will probably escalate the efforts they make, fixing this.
Do you have Crazy Talk Animator installed? I have, and maybe it is this Universal Downloader that will crash. Because it worked fine before I installed iClone 6.
Ok, we will just have to wait then.
Have you issued a support request to Reallusion? It is important that all of us experiencing this do send them a request, the more, the better.

I had an issue with the marketplacedlist.rld file told me I failed to connect to internet. In Internet Explorer if I went into the tool menu, internet options, connections tab, Lan settings, and unchecked the proxy server box, I could open and run the file. I had to do it everytime I wanted to run the installer. It was a pain. Then I found a solution. run regedit to edit the registry. Go to current user, software, Microsoft, windows, internet explorer. delete Proxy server and Proxy server enable. This solved my problem permenantly so far. Just be careful editing the registry.

Hi Veteran, sounds like you have a virus. Some viruses will establish a fake proxy server, and direct your internet activity through this, in order to sniff passwords etc.
If your computer now is ok, after you deleted the proxy sever, you need no proxy server, obviously.
In may case, there is nothing like this.

Now I have a problem with IC 6.01. IC 6 worked great but I was going to get a new computer so I uninstalled it. I had a problem with the new computer and decided to run the old one for a while longer. I had to redownload because I can't find IC 6 disk I made. the download is IC6.01. It installed but when I run it, it tells me I'm not connected to the internet. I am on the internet typing this so I guess I have a problem with IC6.01. What a pain.

Case is closed, on my behalf. Yes, I sent Support all the crash data (well, most of it). Got a response to my support request, with a new downloader. I replaced the old one. It works!
The Botanical Pack is now downloaded and installed. I find it amazing. Plain amazing.

Yes, I do have Crazy Talk installed. GLAD to hear your problem has been resolved. I am typing my support request in another window as I type this. I wanted to see if there way anything new before I sent it. Hopefully I will get the new downloader too and it will work. It worked before the IC6 install. I am sure they will get it fixed for me too. I love the new UI, already rendered a quick scene, so impressed - even without the special render engine. Can't afford that right now.

I am sure the new downloader will help you too. Seems like we have identical stories. Yes, the new GUI in iClone 6 is soooooooooo much better! Crazytalk Animator also got a vastly better GUI. When it comes to the renderer, I am perfectly happy with the default built in one. Just crank up all possible settings to the highest quality. And you can also render out in max resolution, and downsize it when composing the video (in other software).
The Indigio renderer, if that is the one you talk about, is so slow for me, it is not an option. I find the default renderer ok, you can tweak the Visual settings a lot, add HDR, Ambient occlusion. And later do a lot in post, using various software.
So all in all, the rendered results look great. I use iClone for landscapes with vegetation only. For character animation, I use other software.
