hi, has anyone else had crashes with the infinite plane in iclone 6 , i ask this as i was playing about with it, i started iclone and went to create/ physics/ infinite plane. all was fine till i tried to resize it and iclone immediatly crashed, ive tried this several times with the same result.. anyone else got this problem

I've used the infinite plane without issue, but I don't remember if I tried resizing it. I'll have to check.

Hmm, I'm just thinking, if it were truly infinite you wouldn't have to/couldn't resize it, right? :unsure:

I think if you want a plane with a specific size you could use a regular plane and apply physics.

thanks for that, it was just because the gizmo was there i trhought id try and it immediatly crashed

It shouldn't crash, though... A warning would be more friendly...:)

@slippers,

I had the same initial reaction as Animagic. The idea of resizing an "infinite" plane is sort of amusing. Of course I also understand what you were talking about. It's just a funny combination of terms.

I'll go post this in the iClone 6 Issues thread, because it should not cause iClone to crash.

Did you see the news in the Issues thread?

Soya (a Reallusion person) acknowledged that it's passed on to their repair shop.

It helps SO MUCH when a problem can be reproduced. Thank you for reporting it.
