Hi, I have bought Motion Design Elements Collection to use with Crazy Talk animator.
I have downloaded and installed the package but I can't find any files on my pc.
Where should I look for these files?

The "Motion Design Elements" collections are motions for iClone so I would think they would install in the iClone Motion directory under iClone Template.

You can also do a search for .imotion files.

Hi Jeff

Thank you for your response. I don't have iclone.
I bought the collection because it said the videos can be used with Crazy talk animator.

I use the default paths to install my content.

I bought Motion design elements 1 some time ago and can find it in the following location:-

C:\Users\Public\Documents\Reallusion\Shared Templates\Video\Motion Design Elements Vol.1

The files are in .popvideo format.

I use the import media button to get these into Crazy Talk Animator v1

and the Create/create media tab in Crazy Talk Animator v2

Happy hunting.:)

Ah, that product is from Digital Juice.

Did you install Juicer3? That is usually used to export the various content.

The RL distributed packs of Motion Designer Elements are supplied pre-converted to RL .popvideo format for direct use in Iclone and Crazy Talk Animator. I have not required Juicer to install them on my system.

I have finally found these files here:

C:\Users\Public\Documents\Reallusion\Shared Templates\Video\Motion Design Elements Vol.1

but now I can't open them in Crazytalk animator 1 or 2:

I get this message from CTA2:

The file cannot be imported because the codec is not recognized in your system.

I have a few of the Digital Juice products so use Juicer3 for most of them so assumed the same here.

I`ve just brought an RL Motion Designer Elements pack “firework” into CTA2.

Above are a few screen grabs of what I did.

Suggest you check the file extension on your Designer elements vids.

If you bought your files from RL they should be in .popvideo format.

Quote from Content Store Motion Designer Elements page:

How do you use popVideo?

For iClone users: Select the desired video from the Content Manager (or Explorer), then right click and drag the video to your main window and choose an import option (image layer, plane, billboard or background) from the menu.

For CrazyTalk Animator users: Select "Create Media" from the left toolbar, choose an import option (prop, image layer or background), then select the desired video from its location on your computer.”

If you bought your files from another source (as Jeff has already posted) they may require converting before they can be used in RL products. If this is the case I`m sorry but I have no personal experience to offer of that particular process.

The files are in *.popVideo format.

I have tried the steps mentioned but it won't import due to the codec not recognized.

Sorry you are still having problems woestyn101.

I`m relucant to make any further suggestions of my own..... Sometimes reinstalling CTA2 may help if a file required has become corrupted?

I have no hesitation in recommending that you log into your account and submit a support ticket.

The RL support team will check your system and diagnose where the problem lies. It may take a few days but from personal experience they offer an excellent service and have been able to solved any problem I have submitted.

Good luck.

So I tried many different codecs but nothing worked including the suggestions by the support team.

So finally I found codecs that worked for me! Yippy!
