Hi I created an animation for my prop using the edit animation layer tool. But how do I save it so that I could export it in 3dxchange with the animation attached.

1. Edit animation layer
2. Open the timeline - Choose Animation Transform or whatever tab would be affected
3. Collect it on the Collect Line by dragging right to left from end to the beginning
4. Add it as a collection to "Perform"
5. Right Click on the prop after saving it, and then down the timeline, past your edits in #1 above, test it (Wait for it to finish)...

Then press Play and the collection will play out.
Save it (prop) and the performs become part of the prop.

Hi thanks for the reply

But I am having problems following your instruction even after looking at the gif you provided.

There is no "collect clip" button in my prop's timeline.

You should see the Black "Collect" option button (Perhaps you closed the Collect option?)

The same thing in video format...using the GIFS and the resulting collection

Hello ,

If you use iclone 5 standard version , no collect clip . Only for pro version ;)

I was just wondering, do you have the most up to date version? (Help/About) should show version 5.51.3507.1

I found out the problem was that my prop was parented to my figure therefore the collect clip option was disabled somehow. So what I did was detached it to my character first then added the collection to perform. After the step 5 in Cricky's instructions I saved it as an iProp then attached it back to my character. Thanks for the help.
