Yes! Especially if it could be used with keyframe animation and/or for entering a range of motion (in one or more axes) or rotation of an object, grouped objects, camera, orbit and/or scene.
I use 3d Connexion Space Navigator in Sketchup Pro and it brings an impressive fluidity a 'upgraded' control to the program, which if applied to iC6, would be an impressive addition to iC6's New Features.

I agree completely. I also use the SpaceNavigator in both Sketchup and Poser, and would not be without this tool. :)
