Also available to CC members is an oldie I did a while ago. It is character but you will not be able to change the uppers or lowers. You will be be able to animate it and put on accessories.

The hunter is an excellent freebie Akn. For those of you who were lucky enough to get the Teen Boy from RL I have done some textures for him. These are freebies too over at Coolclones. The one on the left is the original of course (not available at CC ) but you are more than welcome to the other two.

Btw: How can I get a coolclone member? I tried to register on Saturday, filled out the registration formular and get an okay when sending is. But I never got the confirmation link per mail. I can login but cannot access any forum or else. So I contacted the admin per email for help but got no answer until now.

Hi Eliza,

You need to validate your registration, I believe you have been sent two validation emails. Check your junk mail in case it has found it's way in there.

Well, after a long break in working on my big iclone-project I think I should start creating some new scenes with the lightsabres in it.
Seems you guys are huge Star Wars fans (like me).;)

but i do have a Yoda and darth maul character being updated - keep an eye on this thread for the download link

popeye did also a great job with the set. I should ask him, how he made it. I need a lot of sets for my project and I am wondering how I can create them.

Sorry for double posting.

Would someone be so kind to tell me where I have to copy the extracted files of the freebies (i. e. the jedi)? I tried some folders but I am afraid I picked the wrong ones because I cannot find the jedi-outfit in iclone :oops:.

The files are textures that require clonecloth, so wherever you extract them to is not important so long as you know where they are stored. Then on your character you load the uppers and lowers.

In the meantime I found out that I have to start the clonecloth templates/mesh and my picture editor. It works but I still have some problems - I'll show you what they are by uploading a picture of my avatar. Maybe someone can tell me how I delete the rest of the overcoat seen in the feet area and how I can cover some blank parts in the middle of the upper part of the coat:

hi eliza what you do is click on the character, then on top menu, click on UPPER - on the right hand side you should see "OPACITY" - click "LAUNCH" and your photo editor (if you addigned one) will open up a the opacity map will be open - basically anything that is white will be visible and black, invisible - so just go and blacken out the bottom part of the map, save it and back in iclone click "UPDATE"

Do you have an idea how I can make the skin in the upper part of the robe make disappear (that small part under the breast)? I doesn't seem to be the same problem like the first one (I checked the pictures in my editor).

wow i am not sure how that hole got there - i assume you are not seeing a black spot on the opacity map

if you apply the texture on a male character is the hole there?

I could show you a 20 minutes long iclone movie I made but I think I should do an English voice over or subtitles first and fix some things that will work better with the new IC 3 than with IC 2.5.

Glad you are starting to get things together now Flybynight.

There lots of freebies out there as you probably know. Some do realise it is hard when someone is on a tight budget but the iClone experience can be made cheaper.

Glad you like Mr. & Mrs. Santa Flybynight. Forgot to say how to do the boots altho most would probably figure it out. Just add one of Jack's default clone shoes from the clone cloth untextured and turn the brightness all the way down til they are black.

Perhaps this is obvious, however, I usually need foolproof instructions for myself.:blink:
