I think this middle-ware is the next camera with even better god-rays in technicolor, motion blur, and any other post production feature in real-time. Judging from a lot of the features that look really familiar in an iClone-ish kind of way, I wouldn't be surprised if The Big RL didn't already integrate v.1. ;)

Plus Substance integration

To be clear: You are suggesting that Reallusion should integrate Silicon Studio’s YEBIS 2 Tech into iClone, correct? Your post and especially your thread title did not make this crystal clear...

But if that's what you're suggesting, then it does sounds like an interesting idea. YEBIS 2 seems to have a lot of the features we've been asking for, including God Rays and Motion Blur. And, already, there are companies that are integrating YEBIS 2 into their software solutions.

However, I'd have to wonder what Silicon Studio’s licensing fees are. It would not be worth it if such license fees push the cost of iClone 6 an additional $100 or so beyond the base price.

This is exactly what I'm suggesting, and my thread is titled that way because the last two polls below ask for Godrays & motion blur separately, just figured I bring them all together in one, hints the title. :D

Ummmm. I just stated that. :ermm:

Ummm, yes, it would TOTALLY be worth it, considering it's all in one package. Besides if it's in Substance, which is in iClone 6(who charges $0 to their base for it's Yebis 2 integration and is priced higher than iClone by the way... Hint Hint RL. ;) ) then it would already be a part of a pipeline that RL is adding anyway, so integrating Yebis 2 would be a no brainer on the part of RL.... don't believe me, just watch.:w00t:

They could offer it like a plug in feature though - to give the option for those who would want that kind of upgrade - you know I would get it ( providing I have the funds at the time of it's release lol )

I think reallusion's modular approach is great and helps keep iclone affordable, yet expandable.

I was figuring a complete overhaul to cameras like Substance being a complete overhaul of texturing in iClone 6 whether modular or embedded is fine with me as long as it is available as a toolset for iClone. :w00t:

Although the recent suggestions are interesting, I don't think we should start flooding the Wishful, Features forum with polls. There's really no need for them. Simple discussion threads will do.

Ditto.

All these polls have a running theme though. It all equals one thing... . . camera features need updating. I feel the polls really help get the discussion juices going. :D :hehe:
