Am I correct in assuming that, even if you submit content created with iClone primitives you can never hold this Certification because they weren't created with 3rd party tools??? :(

You can become a CCD level developer without using 3rd party tools. Please see below for more information.

"To get started selling your content, you will first need to register as a Primary Content Developer (PCD).  In order to become a PCD, you’ll first need to accept our Content Developer Agreement, and enter in the serial number of your iClone or CrazyTalk Animator PRO edition.  After that, you’ll be able to upload and sell your content in your own personal store in our City Marketplace.  If you want to cash out the credit points you have earned from selling your content, your next step is to become a Certified Content Developer (CCD).  To become a CCD, please refer to the information pages HERE. And to learn how to Cash Out please see HERE.

Not all, but obviously submitting your best work will help in getting your submission approved for CCD status.

The form says to submit 5 url - so obviously as Peter says, pick the best ones.

How different is this from the Certified Content Developer process for selling in the RL Content Store? And is it quicker to be certified through this method?

Congratulations.
It obviously is a quicker method, than submitting content through the content marketplace uploader. I've been waiting since February... Even though my content has been approved and is waiting to go into the store :(

Before the Market Place was introduced, there was always the complaint that it took a while for products to be approved for the Content Store. The Market Place allows you to introduce the product, and then start the Content Store acceptance process.

I'm not a CCD myself, but this is what I remember from the discussions at the time.

i wonder if a logical requirement would be that if your item sells over x units, it gets submitted to the content store automatically. I would think that would do more for maximizing profit for both developers and reallusion. I would think the bottom line would be a better focus than a projection.

Hi HJ,

Sorry to hear you haven't heard back yet.

Please can you tell me when you made your submission to be a CCD level developer?

Also please PM me your Reallusion account username (not password) and I will check for you.
